Eccho Rights has sealed a deal with SBS in Australia for critically acclaimed Swedish young adult drama “Threesome”. The series will air on SBS Viceland and the SBS On Demand service.

Produced by Yellow Bird for Nordic Entertainment Group streamer Viaplay, “Threesome” has now been sold to a string of major international broadcasters including Channel 4 (UK), RTL (Germany), Canal+ (France) and TVing (South Korea).

Telling the story of a young Swedish couple living in London and going through fundamental changes in their once perfect relationship, “Threesome” stars a young international cast including Matilda Källström, Simon Lööf, Lucien Laviscount, and Alma Jodorowsky. The series is written and directed by Lisa Linnertorp.

“‘Threesome’ has captured the attention of international buyers and audiences, with its raw and honest portrayal of young love and heartbreak,”  commented Lucy Roberts, Director of Sales, Western Europe at Eccho Rights.
