ELECTRIC ENTERTAINMENT RUNS MARATHON OF "LEVERAGE" ON ELECTRICNOW

Electric Entertainment launches a major campaign for devoted fans of its hit series “Leverage,” as U.S. audiences await the much-anticipated new original production, “Leverage: Redemption,” debuting on IMDbTV July 9.  The company will air a five-day marathon of the original program, “Leverage” on its own App and channel, ElectricNOW, beginning July 5 and running through July 9.

ElectricNOW will offer viewers, for free, 24-hour marathons of all five seasons of “Leverage.” Season 1 will kick-off the marathon on July 5, after which Seasons 1 and 2 will stream on July 6. Then, on July 7, Season 3 will stream, followed by Season 4 on July 8, and finally Season 5 on July 9, the same day as the U.S. premiere of “Leverage: Redemption” on Amazon’s free streaming service, IMDbTV.

Dean Devlin, CEO of Electric Entertainment states, “As anticipation for 'Leverage: Redemption' grows, we wanted to give our dedicated fanbase the opportunity to binge-watch all of the prior seasons of 'Leverage' at one destination. Fans can watch Parker, Sophie, Eliot, and Hardison in their early days of fighting criminals right up until the arrival of Redemption, to see how each of them have evolved. This special marathon will also allow us to drive fans to IMDbTV on July 9.”

"Leverage" focuses on a team led by former insurance investigator turned thief, Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton). His cohorts include Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman), a brilliant grifter; Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), a retrieval specialist; Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge), a gadget and technology wizard; and Parker (Beth Riesgraf), a slightly off-center thief adept at rappelling off buildings. Together, they try to level the playing field for people whose lives have been destroyed by the rich and powerful.

"Leverage: Redemption": In this new iteration, and new world, the Leverage crew have watched as the rich and powerful continue to take what they want without consequence. Grifter Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman), thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf), hitter Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), and hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) have watched the world change over the last 8 years.  It’s become easier – and sometimes legal -- for the rich to become richer and the powerful to squash anyone who gets in their way.  Down one team member, they find new blood in Harry Wilson (Noah Wyle), a corporate lawyer who is looking for redemption after realizing he’d been sitting on the wrong side of the table for his entire career, and Breanna Casey (Aleyse Shannon), Hardison’s foster sister who has a knack for computers, robotics, and getting into trouble.
