EONE PROMOTES JACQUELINE SACERIO TO EVP OF SCRIPTED TELEVISION

Sacerio previously serve as SVP of Scripted Television. Some of her projects in development include "More Happy Than Not" at HBO Max and "Yellowjackets," which was given a series order by Showtime today.

Entertainment One announced the promotion of Jacqueline Sacerio to the role of Executive Vice President, Scripted Television. “Jackie is an exceptionally talented and attuned creative executive who has been doing wonderful work at eOne," said the company's President of Global Scripted Television, Pancho Mansfield. "We’re thrilled that the announcement of her recent promotion coincides with Showtime’s order of Yellowjackets and are excited for her to continue developing and producing premium original content that is smart, compelling, and diverse. We believe the sky is the limit for Jackie."

Sacerio previously served as the Company’s Senior Vice President of Scripted Television. The announcement of her appointment was made by Mansfield.“It’s very exciting to be working with some of the best IP in the world, alongside dynamic storytellers and talented colleagues. I’m looking forward to building on our momentum and creative partnerships to bring more top-shelf television to market in the year ahead,” Sacerio added.

Sacerio’s survival drama series “Yellowjackets,” was given a series order by Showtime today. Created by Ashley Lyle, Bart Nickerson who is also executive producing and showrunning with Jonathan Lisco, the one-hour drama series stars Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, and Tawny Cypress. Karyn Kusama directed the pilot and is executive producing along with Drew Comins. Production will start early next year in Vancouver, Canada for a 2021 debut on the network. Additionally, Sacerio developed and is overseeing Freeform’s upcoming thriller series, “Cruel Summer,” from Bert V. Royal, Jessica Biel, and eOne. The series stars Olivia Holt and Chiara Aurelia with Max Winkler directing the pilot. Michelle Purple is executive producing.

Among her projects in development are “More Happy Than Not” at HBO Max, based on Adam Silvera’s bestselling YA novel which Drew Comins will executive produce, “Philly Reign” at USA, a drama executive produced by Mary J. Blige as well as several other projects set up at networks and streamers including Apple TV+. Since the closing of Hasbro’s acquisition of eOne in December 2019, Sacerio has contributed to the creative development of key Hasbro brands for television including Dungeons and Dragons, Ouija among others.

Before joining eOne, Sacerio was a film and television agent at CAA for nearly eight years where she developed her skills identifying and supporting top-tier talent. Sacerio made the jump to television producing in 2015 when she joined the Mark Gordon Co. and was the executive in charge of “Designated Survivor” starring Kiefer Sutherland. Sacerio started her career in entertainment at Fox Searchlight Pictures.
