"The international visibility is crucial for a comparatively small market like Austria to continue producing at this recognized high level of quality. To stand out from the global offerings, it requires not only stable economic conditions and resilience but also trusting relationships with decision-makers around the globe. The collaboration of the Austrian Business Agency, ORF-Enterprise, and Film Austria puts Austria in the spotlight of the content world”, adds Jakob Pochlatko for Film Austria.

“The film, television, and production industry provides a significant value creation and beyond that, indirect profitability for Austria – economically, culturally, and also touristically. With an appealing funding structure, such as FISAplus and initiatives in the federal states, and a high willingness to cooperate, Austria is a sought-after production location and also a valuable partner for international co-productions and service productions. Through international networking, ‘FILM in AUSTRIA’ ensures more attention for the film and production location and strengthens the industry”, remarks Nina-Anica Keidies, for the Austrian Business Agency – FILM in AUSTRIA.
