Epic Story Media Distribution, has acquired the global distribution rights to the wildly successful short-form series and YouTube sensation, "Silly Crocodile", created by Cory Williams.

The series is a comedic, and heartwarming 3D series for kids 3+ that follows a wildly imaginative and lovable crocodile on a journey to discover where he belongs. With the help of his quirky new friends, he learns valuable lessons about friendship, family and being yourself—even when you’re a little different!.

Originally launched on YouTube in March 2019, "Silly Crocodile" began as an officially approved UGC project featuring the "Peppa Pig" toy line. However, the character’s charm and audience appeal quickly led to the development of original storylines and standalone character arcs, culminating in its evolution into a fully independent series.

The ‘Just For Kids’ YouTube channel, which features over 30 Silly Crocodile videos, has hit over 1 billion views, and comes with high critical acclaim from parents around the world. In addition, the website, sillycrocodile.com, features bonus content and merchandise to support demand from fans. The Silly Crocodile character was inspired by a simple wooden toy that Cory created for his kids. ”I saw the magic in this character, and I thought it would be really cool if I could tell really fun stories with it,” he says, “but as somebody who doesn't have a background in animation or any of that, I was looking for simpler ways to be able to do that.”

With an aggressive production schedule, and Epic’s expertise in story development, content distribution, toy creation and licensing and merchandising, "Silly Crocodile" hopes to entertain and educate children around the world, encouraging them to open their imaginations and just be silly!

“'Silly Crocodile' combines vibrant animation, universal themes, and an established global audience,” said Ken Faier, president and CEO of Epic Story Media. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for broadcasters and platforms to connect with a property that’s already proven itself in the digital space. And it’s just so silly! And fun. You can hear Cory’s love of kids in everything he does. Just an authentic human being and father. We are proud to be working with him!” Epic Story Media Distribution will introduce "Silly Crocodile" at MIPJR and MIPCOM 2025, where the company will have a booth at Canadian Pavilion.
