Evolutions, one of the UK’s leading post-production facilities, announced the expansion of its flagship Sheraton Street facility in the heart of Soho, London, with the addition of a new floor comprised of 22 additional offline suites.
The onsite focus is on combining a high-end finish with five-star service. The new floor also comprises 20 new production desks, as well as soft areas and meeting rooms to facilitate more flexible and collaborative workflows. All onsite facilities dovetail with Evolutions’ offsite data-centre, which provides a petabyte of Nexis storage and the ability to deploy virtually unlimited remote offlines seamlessly in combination with any onsite resource.
The new suites will be used across a number of recently announced upcoming projects for Evolutions, with “Celebs Go Dating” being the first project in the new floor. These join Evolutions’ slate of acclaimed projects including, “Married at First Sight UK,” “SAS: Who Dares Wins,” and “24 Hours in Police Custody”.
The new floor sees Evolutions continue its expansion in the post-production industry, which has to date seen the company grow to two London locations, as well as a southwest facility in Bristol. The new offline suites also see Evolutions enter a new phase in its ongoing strategy of investment and growth, following a major cash injection from specialist SME investment firm Enact in January and numerous additional management hires throughout this year.
“We are thrilled to finally announce our new floor at Sheraton Street. It has always remained vitally important for us to keep our facilities at the forefront of the changing media landscape. As we continue to reopen and return to the office, we are witnessing first-hand the buoyancy of the industry, especially the massive production boom we are seeing in the UK, and the ever-growing need for additional facilities. The new floor will allow us to continue our award-winning work and support the flourishing of the industry, in particular talent here in the UK, and especially our clients and staff at Evolutions,” said Simon Kanjee, CEO of Evolutions.
