The companies will develop projects alongside the Mexican showrunner, writer and director and the first title will be “La Liberación”.

Exile, a film and TV studio focused on long-form content for global audiences in Spanish and English, and Endeavor Content, a global leader in the development, financing and sales of content,  have signed an exclusive first-look series deal with the Mexican showrunner, writer and director Alejandra Marquez Abella (“Las Niñas Bien”).

“We as women have been condemned to ‘divide and conquer,’ to live clashing with each other,” said Marquez Abella. “Now we're looking at each other and we're learning that we don’t have to fight for a spot, that we all can coexist and thrive together in this world.”

EMPOWER PROJECTS

Marquez Abella’s first project is the scripted dramedy “La Liberación,” which follows a group of estranged female entertainment industry professionals who must reconcile with each other, themselves and their past so that they can successfully face the future together.

“La Liberación” stars “Los Espookys’” Cassandra Ciangherotti, “Colosios’” Ilse Salas and “Diablo Guardians’” Johanna Murillo, all of whom are producers alongside Marquez Abella.
