FilmRise has promoted Trey Durst to Vice President, Digital Content Programming. The promotion was announced by Danny Fisher, CEO of FilmRise. “Trey has been an extremely valuable asset to our Sales team,” Melissa Wohl, Senior Vice President, Head of Sales at FilmRise said. “His promotion exemplifies the company’s growth at a thrilling rate, and his contribution has been enormous.”
As VP of Digital Content Programming, Durst will have oversight of the company's digital content on a global scale. He is also tasked with initiating partnerships with platforms around the world. His list of duties will still include the growth of FilmRise’s free Ad-supported Streaming TV channel offerings and points of distribution.
Durst began his tenure in 2018 as AVOD Content Programming Manager. Since then, he has been responsible for curating offerings for partner platforms and maximizing revenue. He has cultivated an expertise in the emerging FAST channel marketplace by overseeing the growth of FilmRise’s portfolio of digital linear channels.
The executive combines content monetization and performance optimization to provide FilmRise’s partners with high-value programming. Before joining FilmRise, he was with TEGNA as an OTT Account Manager, where he managed OTT ad campaigns for Premion’s Dallas and LA markets as well as their Chevy national campaign.
