Fremantle confirmed two new hires to its Global Drama division, headed up by President, Christian Vesper. As the company increases its global drama production, it welcomed Olivia Sleiter as new Head of Production and Robert Delamere as Creative Producer. Both appointments follow the recent promotion of Julie Hodge to VP Editorial, Global Drama.

Sleiter, who takes up her new role at the beginning of 2022, will have a view across Fremantle productions globally, working closely on all forthcoming co-productions with significant investment from Fremantle International. Meanwhile, in his new role, Delamere will work on the development and production of scripted projects for Fremantle, bringing in IP and building a strong roster of creative talent.

“With her exceptional production experience, Olivia is best placed to take on the Head of Production role. From nurturing our production talent and ensuring best practise across the business, her global view will elevate our production ambitions, ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding dramas and films for years to come,”  Christian Vesper commented.

“With his exceptional creative vision and connections across the industry, Robert is perfectly positioned to source the kind of original projects that are the lifeblood of what we produce here at Fremantle. Building the team with this calibre of industry expert will enable us to increase our delivery of high-quality dramas as we continue to serve the global audience,”  Vesper added.

A seasoned TV and film industry professional, Sleiter executive produced for many leading companies before joining the team at Fremantle label Wildside, where she contributed to building the company alongside executive producing flagship shows such as “Anna” and “In Treatment”.

Delamere is a critically acclaimed theatre and television director, as well as a specialist in digital capture and screen arts. He founded Digital Theatre and Digital Theatre Plus, respectively the world’s leading digital platform for the arts and for arts education with audiences in more than 100 countries. He also remains as a producer and consultant for Storyglass, a podcasting company owned by Bertelsmann where, as Creative Director, he was instrumental in bringing several series to life including “The Harrowing,” “What I Love,” “That Podcast,” “Max and Ivan: Fugitives,” and “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”.
