GMA’s “The World Between Us” to stream on Amazon Freevee in the United States

The romance drama series starring by Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards will debut on June 22 becoming the first Filipino language title on the platform.

GMA Network’s “The World Between Us” starring by Alden Richard will now be available for streaming on Amazon Freevee starting June 22, 2022 in the US. "We appreciate this growing partnership, and are thrilled to have one of our hit programs on their AVOD service Amazon Freevee. It is a testament that GMA Pinoy TV in providing world-class entertainment that Filipinos all over the world truly deserve," says GMA International's First VP and Head of Operations, Joseph T. France.

For its premiere offering, GMA International will launch “The World Between Us,” a romance drama series that proves that no matter how deep our divide is, true love can bridge it all. The series also stars award-winning actors including Dina Bonnevie, Sid Lucero, and 2016 Cannes Best Actress Jaclyn Jose under the direction of critically acclaimed director, Dominic Zapata.

The series follows the story of Luisito "Louie" Asuncion (Alden Richards) and Emilia "Lia" Libradilla (Jasmine Curtis Smith). Louie and Lia grew up together at the home of the Libdadillas, they will both feel that they are destined for each other but there are people keen on keeping them apart. Joining Louie and Lia in providing the power of true love is Kapuesta's versatile actor Tom Rodriguez in an off-beat role, portraying the character of Lia's older brother, Bryan.

Amazon Freevee, formerly IMDb TV, is a streaming video service with thousands of premium movies and TV shows, including Originals and FAST channels, available anytime, for free. The platform is available as an app on Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and as a free Channel within Prime Video, across hundreds of devices. Freevee is also available as an app on third party devices including Roku, Samsung smart TVs (2017-2021 models), Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, Comcast's Xfinity Flex, Xfinity X1, Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA SHIELD and other Android TV devices, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, as well as LG Smart TVs (2018-2021 models). The app is also available on iPhone, iPad, and Android mobile devices.
