Go-N inks sales for animated shows with CCTV in China

The iconic animated kids comedy series "Zip Zip", and the global preschool hit "Simon", started airing on CCTV-14, also known as CCTV-Kids, second week of March 2022.

Following broadcasting deals inked early 2022 with Chinese giant public channel CCTV, Parisian prodco GO-N Productions has seen two of its major programs launched across China this March. "Zip Zip", the iconic animated kids comedy series, and "Simon", the global preschool hit, started airing on CCTV-14, also known as CCTV-Kids, second week of March 2022.

The deal includes 2 Seasons of "Zip Zip" (104x11'), with 10 episodes per day to be broadcast, and 3 Seasons of "Simon" (156x5'), with 6 episodes per day.

Already present in the region, with programs broadcast on EBS (Korea), NHK (Japan), TVNZ (New Zealand), Disney (South East Asia, Japan and Korea), Netflix, this new partnership is part of GO-N plans to expand in the APAC region, especially at a time when the preschool IP Simon strengthens globally, supported by a soon-to-be released Season 4 (Summer 2022), which superhero twist has already enchanted existing partners in Asia.

"Simon" is the super energetic, super charismatic and mega-mischievous little rabbit audiences know and love!. The TV series follows Simon, in an age are starting to come into their own - challenging relationships with parents, embarking upon school life, learning about the world in general. The series achieve top audience ratings both on TV channels (over 150 countries) and digital platforms and was always renewed. Season 4 focusing on Super Rabbit will be completed in summer 2022.

“ZIP ZIP” is a cartoon comedy about a group of animals of the forest who decide to move to the city and pretend to be house pets to enjoy urban life. The series were sold in over 100 countries.
