GRB Media Ranch announced several format & factual program deals with African exhibitors, brokered by GRB Media Ranch sales executive, Liz Levenson. The first international format sale ever of GRB Studios’ long-running series, "Untold Stories of the E.R". has been licensed, to Khelgejo for production in Africa. The 150+ episode docuseries has been licensed into 200+ countries over its 20-year life. Next, let's briefly review each of the agreements.

First, let's mention the format sales. On one hand, "Untold Stories of E.R." has been licensed to Khelgejo for production in Africa. It showcases intense true stories demonstrating the dramatic nature of medicine practiced under pressure, where every moment can be a turning point. It illustrates how a doctor’s personal blend of expertise, coolness under fire, and decision-making ability are challenged by unpredictable circumstances and unexpected conditions. On the other hand, "Blind Dating" was licensed to production company Aby Media for production in Africa. The format creates perfect matches between three single men and three single women. In each episode, without seeing each other, the participants must find their love match by simply answering questions while digging for clues—and some dirt—on social media. It has been a hit show in French Canada for many years.

Regarding finished programs, "Wild Zambezi" was licensed to Ster Kinekor for theatrical release for South African audiences and has also been sold to The Africa Channel for worldwide distribution (excluding Africa), 8 x 60 minutes. The title is a journey through the lesser-known Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia, showcasing the battle against the ongoing encroachment of civilization. The development represents a microcosm of the epic existential crisis facing the world’s most vulnerable ecosystems.

On the other hand, "Relative Justice," a court program, was licensed to VIU for Africa (Season 1: 150 x 30 minutes & Season 2: 150 x 30 minutes) and is also available as a format. These are family dramas typically argued around the dinner table. Most of the time, they are harmless and even humorous. But what happens when disagreements between family members turn mean and ugly? Family squabbles can become destructive, especially when money is involved. Emotional quarrels are vividly displayed in this daily arbitration-based reality court show, "Relative Justice", with Judge Rhonda Wills.

Gary R. Benz, CEO of GRB Media Ranch, highlighted this series of agreements in the African continent : "GRB Media Ranch is pleased to announce our African formats and factual program deals with new clients including The Africa Channel, Ster Kinekor, VIU, and Aby Media.  We continue to acquire program of broad but targeted interest, and we are especially excited about the first international format sale to Khelgejo Productions of our GRB Studios’ created show, 'Untold Stories of the E.R'. and to see a locally produced version in Africa.
