Happy Accidents has closed significant license deals with major European outlets including Sky UK, RAI Italia, Sky Italia, Group M6 (France),TV2 Norway, TV3 Baltics, Network4 Hungary, DIVA – from NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct to Consumer (NBCUIN & DTC) in Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia and Beyond Dutch covering Benelux, Scandi and ANZ, alongside welcoming veteran distribution executive Louise Oliver as SVP International Sales.
With a mix of heartwarming Christmas films, feel-good rom coms, and new seasonal content, Happy Accident's slate of 19 titles has already secured 50 deals with major international broadcasters.
GLOBALLY APPEALING TITLES
Leading its Christmas titles is "A Christmas Less Travelled", stars Candace Cameron Bure and Eric Johnson. The uplifting story follows a struggling diner owner who needs to sell her late father's vintage red truck to keep her business afloat.
"Barcelona Mi Amor" is Happy Accidents' leading romantic comedy starring Alison Sweeney and Ashley Williams, set to premier on Hallmark in June 2025. This jet-setting rom-com follows American novelist Ashley whose book about falling in love in Barcelona flops everywhere except Spain.
Based on Joanne Fluke's Hannah Swensen series of novels, "A Pie to Die For" leads Happy Accident's slate of titles in the mystery genre. Starring Allison Sweeney, Barbara Niven and Gabriel Hogan, this murder mystery sees Hannah Swensen fresh from her honeymoon and ready to settle into married life.
The Happy Accidents slate of mystery movie franchises also includes the highly-anticipated new TV movie franchise "The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries", with three films set for release through 2025, starring Candace Cameron Bure and Aaron Ashmore.
