Inter Medya, one of the leading distributors of Turkish content, has announced its latest licensing agreement for the highly acclaimed drama series “Hicran.” In detail, the series is soon to make its debut on Mediaset España, one of top broadcasting networks in Spain.
“Hicran” is the first daily drama produced as part of the multi-year co-production agreement between Inter Medya and Telemundo. Starring the talented child star Nisa Sofiya Aksongur, the series has already achieved phenomenal success at a local level, being broadcasted every weekday on Kanal D in Turkey.
In the story, waking up to the new day with the nightmare she sees every night in which she tries to catch up with her daughter, who is said to have died at birth, Hicran is a young woman who is trying to hold on to life and who believes that her daughter is not dead, unlike everyone else. One day, Hicran saves a little girl, Melek, at the cost of being hurt. Melek’s father convinces Hicran to be Melek's babysitter when he learns that she needs a job. Hicran, unaware that she saved the life of her own daughter, now comes to the mansion where she lives as her babysitter.
