ITV commissions "Camilla's Country Life" from Spun Gold TV

The title is directed by Michael Waldman, produced by Ross Curran and executively produced by Nick Bullen.

ITV has commissioned the one-off documentary from Spun Gold TV "Camilla's Country Life," with exclusive access to "The Duchess of Cornwall" in her role as Guest Editor of Country Life magazine to mark her 75th birthday. “'Camilla’s Country Life' will provide a unique portrait of our future Queen Consort, by exploring the personal passions which have meant so much to her throughout her life as she puts together the magazine, while also fulfilling her royal engagements," Daniela Neumann, Managing Director of Spun Gold TV said.

"Camilla’s Country Life" is a Spun Gold TV production for ITV. It is directed by Michael Waldman, the producer is Ross Curran and the executive producer is Nick Bullen. It was commissioned for ITV by Jo Clinton-Davis. A working title from award-winning Director Michael Waldman, it accompanies "The Duchess of Cornwall" as she plans and oversees a  special edition of Country Life during the magazine’s 125th anniversary year, alongside performing her regular royal duties. "This film presents a unique opportunity to gain an insight into 'The Duchess of Cornwall,' at close quarters, immersed within her personal passions and engaged with some of those closest to her," Jo Clinton-Davis, ITV Controller of Factual, said.

The 60-minute documentary’s access to "The Duchess of Cornwall," the future Queen Consort - reveals her love for the British countryside and the people and places that have shaped her. To put the edition together, Her Royal Highness has invited guest writers to discover her passions, reveal her personal countryside champions and meet the people who run the charities and advocate for causes she cares so deeply about.  Other Spun Gold royal titles incudes "The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration for IT," "The Prince’s Master Crafters: The Next Generation for Sky Arts," "Ancient Secrets of Althorp: Charles Spencer" for Channel 4, and Diana’s Decades for ITV.
