Tim Carter, CEO of MultiStory Media, part of ITV Studios, has announced that Mike Blair has been promoted to Creative Director and Vicky Flind has been named in the newly created role of Head of Current Affairs. In his new role, Blsir will now focus exclusively on expanding MultiStory Media’s already impressive documentary and factual output. The label’s recent documentary credits include: the recent moving ITV documentary, "Brianna: A Mother’s Story," "Georgia Harrison: Porn," "Power and Profit," "Waco: A British Tragedy," and "The Murder of Logan Mwangi." These appointments support the recent news that MultiStory Media is strengthening its position as a leading producer of premium documentaries, current affairs, and factual programming in the UK and global market.

To grow MultiStory Media’s successful current affairs slate, Vicky Flind, creator and executive producer of Peston on Sunday, now Peston, has been promoted to the new position of Head of Current Affairs. Reporting to Mike Blair, Flind will now oversee the award-winning Martin Lewis Money Show and Tonight as well as Peston, with a remit to add further current affairs titles to the slate. Simone Haywood continues in her role as Creative Director, focusing on factual entertainment and formats with an expanded slate of successful returning shows which now includes multi-award-winning Come Dine With Me, Come Dine with Me: Professionals, For the Love of Dogs, Pride of Britain and Kate Garraway’s Life Stories. She will also be responsible for developing a raft of new formats.

MultiStory Media is recognized for its powerful, personal storytelling that matters, producing shows such as the legendary "7 Up" series and "Revenge Porn: Georgia versus Bear." The label produces from its London, Cardiff and Manchester offices. Tim Carter, CEO, MultiStory Media, commented: “We’ve doubled down where we’ve been most successful over the past few years on the two broad genres of factual and factual entertainment. The new structure with Mike and Simone heading up the two sides of our business provides clarity and simplicity allowing MultiStory to do what it does best.”

Mike Blair said: “I’m delighted at this new position with MultiStory. It’s a company and a team I love working with. They’re all profoundly talented and there’s plenty of exciting projects coming down the tracks in the UK and internationally”.

Vicky Flind added: “I'm honoured to take on the role of Head of Current Affairs at MultiStory Media. I look forward to working with the brilliant teams behind the Martin Lewis Money Show, Tonight and Peston; and to have the opportunity to develop a variety of new projects in the months ahead”.
