J2911 SET TO DISTRIBUTE TWO NEW DOCUFILMS FROM SPAIN

The titles, “El Reto De Eva” and “Más Allá Del Reto De Eva," were added to the distributor's catalog by Head of Worldwide Acquisition, Distribution & New Project Engagement Vivian Reinoso and are set to be distributed worldwide.

J2911 Media signed an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement for two docufilms from Spain with appearances by Javier Bardem and Santi Millán. The two new documentaries were added to its catalog by Vivian Reinoso, Head of Worldwide Acquisition, Distribution & New Project Engagement at J2911.

The titles, “El Reto De Eva” (Eva’s Challenge) and “Más Allá Del Reto De Eva” (Beyond Eva’s Challenge) are set to be distributed worldwide. Javier Bardem and Santi Millán are part of the honorary members of “Fundacion Asdent” and they actively support it. Santi Millán participates in both documentaries and Javier Bardem is part of the sequel “Más Allá Del Reto De Eva.”

Director of both documentaries, Eloi Tomàs has worked in many awarded shows including “La ruta natural”, which obtained 155 nominations and 89 awards including nominations to the Goya Awards, and winner at the Sundance Festival. He also worked in the film “Carriers” produced by Paramount. As the director, screenwriter, and film editor, he has been in charge of several awarded documentaries. As a film editor, he has worked for Discovery Max in “El Mago Pop 48 horas con …,"among other projects with different networks. Recently, he directed“Más Allá Del Reto De Eva” and he is part of the behind-the-camera team of the movie “Hogar” for Netflix and “perfect enemy” directed by Kike Maíllo.

In these documentaries, viewers will get to know Eva, the mother of Nacho. Nacho has a very rare, uncurable disease called DENT which only affects boys and men. Eva is the founder of“Fundacion Asdent,” an organization that is financially supporting the research of the Dent disease, whose goal is to find a cure for it. In her pursuit of raising the money needed to fund the scientific research, Eva has been involved in many initiatives, including participating in the “Titan Desert” competition in Morocco, among others.
