Jesse Williams confirmed as lead actor and producer of Prime Video’s "Costiera"

Prime Video Italy confirms Jesse Williams ("Your Place Or Mine") as lead actor and producer of "Costiera", the Original Series directed by Emmy Award winner Adam Bernstein ("Breaking Bad"), and co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Lux Vide, a Fremantle company.

Prime Video is holding on to full exclusive rights in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, Fremantle will handle global sales in all other territories, and will present "Costiera" (wt) as one of its key scripted titles to global buyers during The London TV Screenings at Fremantle Presents on Friday (1st March). The series is currently under production.

Jesse Williams will play the role of Daniel De Luca, a half Italian former U.S. marine who returns to Italy, the land of his childhood, as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, located on the spectacular coastline of Positano. Shortly after Daniel, or DD as everybody knows him, starts working at the hotel, one of the owner’s daughters disappears. He must do whatever it takes to find her and bring her home, while still solving the ever-changing problems of the exclusive hotel guests. Alongside an international cast, "Costiera" will feature a gripping storyline, fast-paced action and comedy, a complex main character and spectacular locations.

Based on an idea by Luca Bernabei, written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill and Francesco Arlanch, the highly anticipated international action drama, is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a Fremantle company.
