Julie Hodge promoted to VP, Editorial, Global Drama at Fremantle

Julie Hodge has been promoted to Vice President of Editorial, Global Drama at Fremantle. Previously Editorial Director, Global Drama, Hodge’s extended remit will see her work closely with Christian Vesper, President of Global Drama, assisting with strategy management across all territories, with a particular focus on the UK and Africa.

On this newly created position, Hodge will also creatively support producers and work closely with Fremantle International and Fremantle partner Lorenzo De Maio on the development of the drama slate and supervision of future co-productions.

As our focus on delivering world class drama and film continues, I felt that Julie, with her knowledge, experience and passion, was best placed to help us on this journey. I know she’ll thrive with her newly expanded remit,”  Christian Vesper commented.

The executive has been at Fremantle for over five years, having started her career in the company as Editorial Manager, Global Drama in 2016. She previously held positions at BBC Worldwide in a number of distribution roles, ultimately holding the position of Scripted Formats Manager.
