“Lupi & Baduki,” an animated series co-produced by Elo Studios, Flamma, Birdo and Warner Bros Discovery, has been nominated in the Best Kids: Animation category at the International Emmy Awards.

This is Elo Studios’ first nomination as a production company at the Emmys: “It is a great honor to see this project, created in partnership with Flamma, Birdo and Warner, recognized alongside such relevant works from around the world. Reynaldo Marchesini’s creativity, Birdo’s production quality, and Ultrassom’s original soundtrack are key to this acknowledgment. This achievement goes beyond the companies involved: it is proof of the creativity and strength that we Brazilians bring to all audiovisual genres. We are confident and excited about the announcement because, even among such strong titles, we believe in the power of our work,” says Sabrina N. Wagon, CEO of Elo Studios.

Created by Reynaldo Marchesini, the animated series follows Lupi, an extroverted and lively maned wolf, and Baduki, a creative and resourceful sloth. Despite having very different personalities, they are best friends and live great adventures together in Vila Figueira. The series addresses themes such as otherness, diversity and inclusion.

“Lupi & Baduki” competes in the category alongside “Bluey” (Australia), “Lamput” (Singapore), and “Muumilaakso” (Finland). The International Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on November 24 in New York. Before that, the nominees will participate in the International Emmy World Television Festival, featuring panels, presentations, and meetings with partners.
