Madeleine Haeringer
Madeleine Haeringer, formerly a top executive at Crooked Media, is joining MSNBC as Senior Vice President of Digital, Audio, and Longform. She will oversee MSNBC.com, the network’s social media accounts, audio products, and longform content production. Haeringer begins her new role on May 7 and will report directly to MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler.
This move is one of Kutler’s recent leadership hires as MSNBC gets ready to separate from parent company Comcast, along with other cable networks. The transition comes as the network adjusts its digital and content strategy.
Haeringer brings extensive experience from her 22-year tenure at NBC News, where she served as Senior Vice President of Editorial. In that role, she coordinated news coverage across cable, broadcast, and streaming platforms, while also overseeing teams focused on business, technology, health, race, inequality, and climate. She was also involved in the development of both documentaries and scripted content.
After leaving NBC News in 2022, she became Executive Vice President and General Manager at Crooked Media, where she led content strategy and programming. Her past work also includes producing short-form content for Quibi and contributing to Vice Media’s daily news show on HBO.
