The Mediawan Group has announced the acquisition of the production company Les Films entre 2&4, founded in 2016 by actors, writers, and directors Benjamin Bellecour, Jean-Toussaint Bernard, and Jonathan Cohen.

“We’re very pleased to welcome the inventive and talented team at Les Films entre 2&4 into the Mediawan family. Their experience as actors, writers, and directors gives them a unique approach to working with talent. It was only natural for us to join creative forces to strengthen our artistic bond and develop bold new original projects with both domestic and international reach,” said Pierre-Antoine Capton, Chairman of the Management Board and co-founder of Mediawan.

“After several years of working with Jonathan Cohen, Benjamin Bellecour, and Jean-Toussaint Bernard, we are proud to embark on a new journey with the team at Les Films entre 2&4. Numerous projects are already in development and are expected to enter production soon,” added Thomas Anargyros, President of Mediawan France Scripted, and Dominik Schmelck, Managing Director of Mediawan France Scripted.

“Driven by strong relationships with many talents, Les Films entre 2&4 has always embraced the ambition of creating content with a powerful identity—stories that surprise, push boundaries, and create both impact and resonance. By joining the Mediawan Group, Les Films entre 2&4 affirms its commitment to bold, high-quality, and diverse production, focused on singular voices and increasingly international perspectives, with the goal of combining top-tier talent and French expertise,” said Benjamin Bellecour, Jean-Toussaint Bernard, and Jonathan Cohen, co-founders of Les Films entre 2&4.

Known for its creative energy and innovative concepts in television fiction, Les Films entre 2&4 has collaborated for many years with Mediawan, the leading independent European player in TV and film production, on successful shows such as "La Flamme" and "Le Flambeau."

With Mediawan, Les Films entre 2&4 will continue this unique creative partnership by developing feature films and original series with an increasingly bold editorial vision. After a diverse slate of recent projects ("Iris," "Fucking Fred," "McWalter"), the company is preparing to release Les Lionnes, a series by Olivier Rosemberg currently in post-production for Netflix, as well as its first theatrical film: "L’Âme idéale," the debut feature by Alice Vial, co-produced with Gaumont. This marks a new chapter in their pursuit of strong auteur storytelling.
