The acclaimed films "Green Antarctica" and "Andes Extreme", distributed by ORF Enterprise, captivate audiences and critics alike with their breathtaking visuals and compelling narratives. Selected for the prestigious LA Film & Documentary Award, "Green Antarctica" stands out at the online festival renowned for honoring independent filmmakers and screenwriters. The documentary’s nomination for the Cinematography & Photography Awards in London further underscores its exceptional quality and impact.

Meanwhile, "Andes Extreme" has attracted significant attention as a finalist in the category Best Nature Documentary Program or Series at the PRODU Awards 2024. Additionally, the film was nominated for Best Documentary by the Brazilian Film Academy.

These accolades honor the significant contributions of Edson Vandeira, whose visionary spirit and dedication to the arts have left a lasting impact on the film industry. Beyond his involvement in creating "Green Antarctica" and "Andes Extreme", he was a distinguished mountaineer and photographer, recognized as a trusted contributor to National Geographic. AN ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY
"Green Antarctica" follows Edson Vandeira and a team of scientists on a 60-day expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula. The film explores climate change by uncovering ancient clues, such as dinosaur bones and evidence of past forests, while documenting extreme weather events.

Meanwhile in "Andes Extreme", the Brazilian mountaineers Gabriel Tarso, Edson Vandeira, and Branca Franco embark on an expedition through the world’s largest mountain range, climbing six peaks over six thousand meters. For sixty days, they explore remote areas rich in ancient culture, with Inca ruins and local traditions.
