Powerkids joins industry leaders for brand-new show "Adventures of Akira & Mowgli"

The company has partnered with beIN Media Group, DeAPlaneta Entertainment, Telegael, Twelve P Animation, and Wall Peep to co-produce "The Jungle Book" spin-off.

Following the success of their cherished franchise “The Jungle Book", which has captured the hearts of millions of children and families worldwide, Powerkids Entertainment announces its collaboration with beIN Media Group, DeAPlaneta Entertainment, Telegael, Twelve P Animation, and Wall Peep, to co-produce a brand-new show "Adventures of Akira & Mowgli", the highly anticipated spin-off of the "The Jungle Book" series.

The show is currently in fast-paced production, with a tentative completion date by the end of 2025. In anticipation of strong interest from broadcasters, Powerkids plans to initiate the presales during Annecy market.

A PROMISING SHOW
Even before its release, the show is making waves and earning accolades. PowerKids CEO Mr. Manoj Mishra received the Best Producer in ANN Award'24, and the series has been nominated for Best International Showcase at the prestigious Cartoon on the Bay Pulcinella Awards.

Powerkids has brought on board Trevor Wall, joining as Storyboard and Animation Director, bringing experience from Disney Jr.'s "Puppy Dog Pals". Sidharth Vasudeva, Creative Director, leveraging his expertise from previous "Jungle Book" seasons. Renowned writers Jeff Sager and Eric Steinhart are crafting the scripts, with credits including "PJ Masks", "Super Wings", and "Paw Patrol."
