QCODE, a premium content studio and podcast network, has released the new kids and family podcast, "The Peepkins", starring and executive produced by Anna Faris ("Scary Movie"). The 10-episode series will feature an original soundtrack performed by a talented cast that also includes Maulik Pancholy ("30 Rock") and Diedrich Bader ("Better Things"). Premiering November 22, the new episodes of "The Peepkins" will be available for free every Tuesday wherever podcasts are available. QCODE+ subscribers on Apple Podcasts will have early, uninterrupted access to new episodes.
“I am so excited to introduce everyone to our fun (and funny) new family podcast, 'The Peepkins',” said Anna Faris. “I play an eccentric creature named Hatch, who spends her days getting into (and out of) trouble with her best friend Noah. With mysteries to be solved, tales to be told, and songs to be sung, it’s screen-free entertainment that encourages kids to 'see' the story and make it their own. I love the idea of kids being inspired to pick up some markers or grab some clay as they imagine these fantastic characters on their many adventures.”
“The Peepkins” is such a great way for families to experience Jeremy and Stuart’s artistic and creative vision for this fun and adventurous world of creatures,” said Maulik Pancholy. “I am glad that I have been able to work closely with such a talented cast and the QCODE team to bring this vision to life and look forward to listeners having the opportunity to enjoy it just as I have enjoyed portraying ‘Noah’.”
The podcast series follows Hatch (voiced by Anna Faris) and her best friend Noah (voiced by Maulik Pancholy) as they get into a load of shenanigans in the quaint midwestern town of Coopmore Ridge. The series is full of quirky personalities, catchy songs, and cautionary tales, making this a fun audio experience for families while on the road, before bedtime, or as they gather for events like the holidays.
“The Peepkins are a bunch of offbeat, freethinking, and highly intelligent creatures, who, like all of us, occasionally struggle to navigate their relationships between friends and neighbors,” said series creators Jeremy Bullis and Stuart Jenkins. “While a comedy at heart, there are thrills, there’s drama, singing, and though you won’t be able to see it, we promise you the dance numbers will be spectacular!”
"The Peepkins" is produced by QCODE and Next 5 Miles Productions. Executive producers include Anna Faris, Michael Barrett, Jeremy Bullis and Stuart Jenkins. The series was created and written by Stuart Jenkins and Jeremy K. Bullis, based on the artwork of Bullis.
