Red Arrow Studios International sold the entertainment format "Beat the Channel" to the Spanish group Atresmedia, who will produce it in collaboration with Boxfish, also based in Spain. The original show is currently experiencing a good moment in Germany as the latest season reached an average market share of 17.9% among viewers 14-49 and 25.2% among viewers 14-39.

The format shows two popular TV presenters the chance to win a 15-minute live broadcast slot, where anything goes. In Spain, two popular presenters, Roberto Leal and Iñaki López, will team up to face a series of physical and mental challenges. At the end of each episode, whether the duo has won or lost against the network will be decided. If they win, they will secure valuable time in front of the camera to do and say whatever they want. If they lose, they will be placed at the channel's disposal for a full day. "López y Leal contra el canal" will be presented by Eva González.

Tim Gerhartz, managing director of Red Arrow Studios International, expressed enthusiasm for the interest that the format has been garnering worldwide: "We are delighted that Antena 3 has commissioned 'Beat the Channel.' Broadcasters worldwide are looking for entertainment formats that differentiate their schedules, and with its high-energy, hilarious stunts, games, and celebrity guests, this format ticks all the boxes. Following its outstanding success in Germany, we're confident that Spanish viewers will enjoy this noisy, watercooler hit, which makes for perfect family viewing," said.

Edi Walter, CEO of Boxfish, referred to the challenge of producing a show of this nature: "For Boxfish, this is a dream come true! What every production company wants is the opportunity to produce such a powerful format for Atresmedia with such good hosts. 'Beat the Channel' is an entertainment format with original mechanics and lots of humor, which are fundamental requirements to conquer the hearts of audiences in our country and anywhere in the world," said.

Finally, Carmen Ferreiro, Director of Entertainment Programmes at Atresmedia Televisión, highlighted the items that make the program appealing: "We are very pleased that 'Beat the Channel' is now part of our family as it a priority for Atresmedia to continue betting on the most internationally successful formats. This program combines humor, spectacle, and three powerful presenters; it has all the ingredients we look for in a show at Antena 3 – entertainment that will continue to surprise the viewer," said. Red Arrow Studios International has also licensed the "Beat the Channel" to France, Portugal, and Italy.
