"Sueños de libertad", the leading and most-watched TV series in Spain, embarks on a new phase in its unstoppable international journey with its premiere across Latin America and Brazil on the HBO Max platform. This original Atresmedia fiction will be available weekly outside Spain, starting from the very first episode.
"Sueños de libertad" is a production by Atresmedia in collaboration with Diagonal (Banijay Iberia). Montse García and Jaume Banacolocha are the executive producers of this Atresmedia fiction, with Joan Noguera serving as co-executive producer and director. Eduardo Casanova, Fran Moreta, Eva Norverto, Diego Lesmes, Asier Aizpuru, and Kiko Ruiz Claverol are the episode directors. Beatriz Duque and Verónica Viñé are the creators of the series.
This launch marks a new milestone in the global expansion of "Sueños de libertad", which has already made its way into demanding markets such as the Baltic countries and the Middle East, confirming its status as an international phenomenon and placing Spanish fiction at the forefront of the audiovisual landscape.
In Spain, the series continues to consolidate its success thanks to its daily broadcast on Antena 3, the leading local platform atresplayer, and it is also available on Movistar+ and Disney+, strengthening its position as one of the most relevant productions of recent years. Outside Spain, "Sueños de libertad" can be watched through Antena 3 Internacional and atresplayer Internacional, and starting September 22, it will also be available throughout Latin America and Brazil via HBO Max.
"Sueños de libertad" is distributed internationally by Atresmedia Sales, which continues to strengthen the presence of its productions in the main audiovisual markets. In the coming weeks, Atresmedia Sales will participate in Iberseries, where it will hold an Atresmedia Day, and will also be present at Mipcom at stand R7.J1, consolidating its role as a benchmark in the worldwide marketing of Spanish content.
The absolute leader every afternoon, "Sueños de libertad" remains undefeated with an average share of 13.3%, over 1.2 million viewers, and 2,074,000 unique viewers this season. The Antena 3 series has proven to be a powerhouse, outperforming its two closest competitors in its time slot by +4.8 and +5.7 points, respectively. The dominance of "Sueños de libertad" doesn’t stop there, as it has led in almost 100% of its broadcasts. Additionally, "Sueños de libertad" has improved the time slot for Antena 3, growing by +1.3 points compared to the same period last year.
The daily series on Antena 3 is also the leader and favorite choice in nearly all age targets, especially standing out among women with a strong 16.1% share. It also performs very well with young audiences, with a share of nearly 11 points.
"Sueños de libertad" stars Alain Hernández, Natalia Sánchez, Oriol Tarrasón, and Dani Tatay. Nancho Novo, Juanjo Puigcorbé, Ana Fernández, Roser Tapias, Marta Belmonte, Javier Beltrán, Agnès Llobet, Daniel Albaladejo, Alba Brunet, Guillermo Barrientos, Carolina Lapausa, Antonio Romero, Isabel Moreno, José Milán, Candela Cruz, Alejandro Albarracín, Arturo Querejeta, Pepa Aniorte, Ana Labordeta, and Amanda Cárdenas complete the cast.
The script is coordinated by Jordi Calafí, with Mauricio Romero as dialogue coordinator. Nuria Hernández and Marta Creus handle production management, Marcelo Pacheco is the art director, and Elena Lucendo is the set decorator. Berto Brezo is responsible for costume design, while makeup and hairdressing are led by Ainize Arrieta.
