The first season of Red Arrow Studios International’s conspiracy thriller “Departure” (6x45') has premiered on ViacomCBS’s Paramount+ platform and is now available across Latin America (excluding Brazil). The show is centered around the shock disappearance of Flight 716 and stars Emmy Award- winner Archie Panjabi and the late Academy Award-winner Christopher Plummer. The series is produced by Shaftesbury and Greenpoint Productions in association with Corus Entertainment for Global TV (Canada).

“As streaming players in Latin America continue expanding their borders and adding significantly more international content, it’s fantastic to have a platform like Paramount+ on board for one of our most-talked about titles. 'Departure’s' action-packed plot and A-list cast will strike a chord with audiences across Latin America,”  said Tim Gerhartz, SVP Global Sales at Red Arrow Studios International.

Zasha Robles, Executive Producer and Managing Director at distributor Spiral International, who acquired the Latin American rights to "Departure" from Red Arrow Studios International, added: “We’re seeing the growth of streaming platforms really accelerating in Latin America, and local players striving to offer both global and local experiences for audiences. As a high-end international drama series, ‘Departure’ is ideally positioned to bolster the offering of the recently launched Paramount+ platform”.
