Paramount has appointed Rodrigo Mazon as Head of LATAM & Canada, a role that will place him at the forefront of the company’s streaming strategy in two key regions. Reporting directly to Cindy Holland, Mazon will oversee all initiatives, operations, strategy, and programming for Paramount+ and Pluto TV across Latin America and Canada, with a mandate to drive execution, market development, and alignment with the platforms’ global goals.

As part of the new structure, José Calderoni, SVP of Streaming for LATAM, will report to Mazon and focus on day-to-day operations for both Paramount+ and Pluto TV in the region. Mazon will also maintain alignment with Marco Nobili, who oversees Paramount+, and Olivier Jollet, who leads Pluto TV.

According to the company, the appointment reflects the importance of strengthening direct-to-consumer leadership at a regional level. Paramount emphasized that Latin America and Canada are uniquely positioned for growth, making dedicated leadership essential to accelerating performance in both markets.

Mazon, who will be based in Los Angeles, brings deep experience in the streaming sector. He previously held senior roles at Netflix and most recently served as Chief Content Officer at Vix, where he was part of the founding launch team. Over the course of his career, he has built a track record in scaling streaming businesses and managing local content operations across Latin America.

This move builds on the strong foundation already established by Paramount+ and Pluto TV in these regions and reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to international expansion.
