SERIOUS LUNCH'S “BO & TO’S FAMILY" SECURES GLOBAL BROADCAST DEALS

The animated show has been acquired by Sky Kids in the UK, Amazon Kids Plus for Germany, among several others. The show was previously sold to Canal Once in Mexico, Czech TV, Hop TV, Disney Korea.

Serious Lunch has secured sales for its animated series "Bo & To's Family" with NHK Japan and Ten Cent in China. The first series was commissioned by KBS, SK Broadband in Korea and has since been acquired by Kidoodle, Tubi, Genius Brands, Video365, Noorplay, and further TV sales have been made to Canal Once in Mexico, Czech TV, Hop TV, Disney Korea, and many more.

The company represents the property worldwide excluding Asia where Comma Studios distribute. Serious Lunch is a London-based boutique distribution company headed up by founder, Genevieve Dexter. “We are happy to see its international presence growing and we are close to launching a second season, bringing the total number of episodes to 80 x 5’,” Ouledcheikh said.

The handcrafted show from award-winning Comma Studios in Korea, is a non-dialogue, slapstick comedy series starring 3 eccentric rescue cats who live above a café with their barista ‘servant’ who dotes on them. “We’re concentrating on finding the perfect places for such unique series to thrive,” says Leila Ouledcheikh, Director of Global Sales at Serious Lunch.

Established in 2011, the company represents a select catalog of children’s and family programs from Oscar-winning Studio Ghibli, Zeilt Production and See Saw and award-winning Maverick, Hat Trick, Dot to Dot, Gigglebug.
