Banijay France recently unveiled Shine Fiction's new thriller, "Brocéliande." The co-production with Les Films du Printemps for TF1 and will be distributed by Banijay Rights. “I’m looking forward to working alongside Les Films du Printemps on this new scripted series for TF1. Filming for the six-part series, written by Isabelle Polin, Thomas Boullé and Eric Delafosse, and directed by Bruno Garcia, is underway in Brittany. “Brocéliande promises to be an exciting challenge, marking the first mini-series for Les Films du Printemps. I’m proud to showcase the beautiful region of Brocéliande in Brittany and work with the talented team behind the scenes with director, Bruno Garcia and writers, Isabelle Polin, Thomas Boullé and Éric Delafosse, as well as Nolwenn Leroy, who takes on the lead role. Biologist, Fanny Legoff, played by Nolwenn Leroy, has lived in Paris for more than 15 years, having left Brocéliande University during her studies, following suspicion she was involved in the disappearance of her best friend Laura. When Fanny receives a package with a machete covered in dried blood and a letter accusing her of being responsible, she decides to return to the scene, taking part in a seminar at the university. Upon her return, she finds places she knows well and are full of memories. But shortly after her arrival, one of her students disappears in the same way as Laura. In both cases, Fanny is the last person to see them alive.
Launched in September 2021, Shine Fiction is credited with developing "Serial Lover," a co-production with Amaury Fournial (Sibaro Films), which aired on M6 and is distributed by Banijay Rights.
