SIC announced its telenovela “Sangue Oculto” (“The Secret”), produced by SP Televisão, will premiere on TV Brasil on October 21. The series will air from Monday to Saturday, in prime time (20:00), on Brazil's state channel.

Written by Sandra Santos, “Sangue Oculto” follows the story of three twin sisters, played by Sara Matos, daughters of Sofia Alves, separated at birth by the antagonist of the narrative, played by the well-known Brazilian actress Luana Piovani.

For the writer, “it's a great pleasure and pride to see our work cross borders and reach other territories. ‘Sangue Oculto’ was a challenging creative and production process. I hope that Brazilian audiences will be taken by our story, which surprises at every turn of the plot and all the way to the very end.”

Antonia Pellegrino, Content and Programming Director at TV Brasil, added: “‘Sangue Oculto’ is a high-standard production, well directed and with a script that meets the imaginary of Brazilian telenovela audiences. We're really excited to be airing 'Sangue Oculto' in our prime-time slot.”

“Sangue Oculto” has already traveled to other countries, namely Canada and Vietnam, joining many other fiction projects from SIC and SP Televisão that have reached more than 120 countries.
