"Bleeding Love" is a family drama starring Ewan McGregor and his daughter Clara McGregor, set to premiere on FilmBox Premium across 11 markets in June. This multi-market exclusive release will also be available via the FilmBox+ streaming service in selected territories.

This coordinated release is part of SPI International’s strategic approach to acquiring and distributing premium content across multiple regions, maximizing both audience reach and business efficiency. As a result, "Bleeding Love" will premiere simultaneously on FilmBox Premium on June 15th at 8 PM in Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over a week later, on June 23rd, the film will also have its additional TV premiere in Poland.

‘"Bleeding Love" is a deeply moving family drama with Ewan and Clara McGregor that resonates across cultures. By premiering it almost simultaneously in over a dozen markets, we’re delivering on our promise to bring high-quality, emotionally rich stories to our audiences while leveraging the power of our international network,’ said Małgorzata Lucińska-Sikora, Acquisitions Director at SPI International.

The title is a poignant drama that follows the emotional journey of a father and daughter as they attempt to rebuild their relationship. Ewan McGregor plays a father who takes it upon himself to drive his teenage daughter—portrayed by his real-life daughter Clara McGregor—to a rehabilitation center. But the journey becomes about much more than reaching a destination: it’s a story of family ties, forgiveness, and healing, as a father tries to reconnect with his estranged daughter after years apart.

What makes the film especially compelling is that Ewan and Clara McGregor not only portray the lead characters but were also actively involved in the creation of the story. Directed by Emma Westenberg, the film premiered at the prestigious SXSW Film Festival, where it received high praise for its authenticity, strong performances, and honest tone.
