The Mediapro Studio U.S./Canada, the North American division of the studio with an office in Los Angeles, has announced its new leadership team, led by Juan "JC" Acosta. Erika Kennair, producer of award-winning series such as "The Flight Attendant" and the Oscar-nominated short film "Stranger At the Gate," will be in charge of scripted content, while Pam Healey, who has developed some of the most iconic entertainment programs in American television, including "First Dates," "Who Do You Think You Are?," "Real Housewives of New York City," "Supernanny," "Child Genius," "Basketball Wives," "Criminal Confessions," and "The Warriors of Liberty City," will oversee unscripted content.

In addition to Kennair and Healey, two other executives with extensive experience in North American studios and television networks are joining the team. Ari Tan, previously responsible for Strategy at Paramount International Studios, will be in charge of strategy and operations, and Robert Haiat, formerly Senior Vice President of Business Development at Paramount Global and CBS Corporation, will take on the commercial area responsibilities.

The Mediapro Studio U.S./Canada also announced the inclusion of two executives already part of the company who are now joining this new division: Leslie Cohen, who will continue as head of global acquisitions, and Juan Pablo Santos, who will remain as SVP of content for US Hispanic.

These moves are part of the strategy announced by Laura Fernández Espeso, CEO of The Mediapro Studio, for the creation, production, and distribution of English-language content across all genres, including series, films, documentaries, formats, and entertainment programs for the North American market and global distribution. They also strengthen the company's position in the United States and Canada and contribute to expanding the presence of its parent company, Grup Mediapro, which now, with the new Los Angeles office, has 52 offices in 29 countries worldwide.

"It is an honor to welcome this group of excellent professionals to the leadership team of The Mediapro Studio U.S./Canada. Their extensive experience, creative vision, and great expertise in the audiovisual field make them the ideal executives to ensure the development of our ambitious strategic plan. Without a doubt, this team will lead The Mediapro Studio U.S./Canada to success by providing outstanding content to our partners and audiences," said Juan 'JC' Acosta.

"I am truly impressed with the brilliant creations and solid content that Laura Fdez. Espeso and her team have developed, and I look forward to collaborating with 'JC' to further expand that legacy within the United States and Canada," stated Kennair.

"I am thrilled to join The Mediapro Studio to form their unscripted team in the United States and Canada," added Healey. "Working with a company that has such powerful names among its creators and leaders is a dream come true. Additionally, this is the perfect time to showcase their impressive portfolio and innate international production capabilities to the U.S. market. I look forward to working with entrepreneurs and leaders like Laura and JC to highlight and contribute to the success The Mediapro Studio already enjoys worldwide."
