The Television Syndication Co., launched in 1989 with a single weekly travel series, celebrates a milestone 35th anniversary heading into Mipcom. TVS, as it is known around the world, has continued to expand its content portfolio, which is available for cash licensing domestically, internationally, and for inflight entertainment. They also syndicate 11 series plus various specials throughout the year in the US.
"TVS has an amazing team, without them we simply wouldn't be in our 10th season. We appreciate the partnership we have carved out with them," Rodney Miller, co-host of "Small Town Big Deal," said.
Harvey Moshman, Producer, added: "TVS has opened WILD TRAVELS to new markets and platforms I would never have known about. They are true professionals, experienced in all phases".
"Wow! 35 years. What an accomplishment. We've been working with the TVS team for over a third of that time, and it has been a complete joy," said Kevin Welk, president of GameDay Productions. "They are experts at their craft who understand our programming and how it best fits the needs of our TV station partners. They are a "relationship building organization" that has delivered great success for us. Congratulations on this incredible milestone."
"We rely on their years of industry experience to help us make important distribution and content decisions. Their advice is priceless," stated Chad Crawford, Producer.
"As important as it is to have quality programming, we value the working relationships we have built with our producers and buyers. This is the most important part of our success along with our dedicated and knowledgeable sales team," Cassie Yde, President at TVS, said.
The company has survived the continually changing, highly competitive syndication and distribution industry through a combination of successful shows and solid client relationships.
