TVS celebrates its 35th Anniversary as global content distributor

The Television Syndication Co., launched in 1989 with a single weekly travel series, is celebrating its 35th anniversary heading into Mipcom.

The Television Syndication Co., launched in 1989 with a single weekly travel series, celebrates a milestone 35th anniversary heading into Mipcom. TVS, as it is known around the world, has continued to expand its content portfolio, which is available for cash licensing domestically, internationally, and for inflight entertainment. They also syndicate 11 series plus various specials throughout the year in the US.

"TVS has an amazing team, without them we simply wouldn't be in our 10th season. We appreciate the partnership we have carved out with them," Rodney Miller, co-host of "Small Town Big Deal," said.

Recent acquisitions include Peter Greenberg's "The Travel Detective," "Hidden" and "The Royal Tour" along with "In the Line of Duty," "Happy Yoga" with "Sarah Starr," "Military Sites," "Eating Inn," and "Lincoln is Crying." TVS has relationships with major broadcasters, streaming platforms, and airlines around the globe, and it has an affiliate office in Australia under TVS Asia, a joint initiative with Sunrise Entertainment Pte Ltd.

TVS' syndication slate of eleven series and two specials includes "Small Town Big Deal," "Everyday Heroes," "RaceWeek," "Sports Stars of Tomorrow," "HouseCalls," "Laura McKenzie's Traveler," "Street Magic," and E/I series "Elizabeth Stanton's Great Big World." For Florida Markets only are "Flip My Florida Yard," "What's Next!" and "Power & Politics." Specials include "Christmas Across America," "A Small Town Big Deal Celebration," and "Pets Welcome Here."
