Cineflix Rights has unveiled its MIPCOM 2024 factual slate, showcasing new lifestyle, renovation, food and travel franchises, along with blue-chip history and science documentaries from some of the world’s most creative producers, as well as new seasons of hit brands. Next,  let's briefly review the slate:

In the first place, "A New Life in the Sun" (Seasons 1-9, 295x60’), "A New Life in the Sun: Where Are They Now?" (Seasons 1-6, 75x60’), and "A New Life in the Sun: Road Trip" (Season 1, 10x60’), all produced by True North for Channel 4 (UK), deliver real-life adventure in picturesque locations, following expats as they start new lives and businesses in dream destinations across Europe.

Next, "Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive & Kids" (10x60’, Wise Owl Films for Channel 4, UK) revisits the UK’s favorite sheep-herding family as they transform an abandoned stone barn and cottage into a 40-acre hub.

On the other hand, "Titanic: Our Secret Histories" (1x60’, Afro Mic Productions for Channel 4, UK) offers exclusive access to unseen archives and artifacts, sharing emotional stories of the everyday people who built, sailed, and worked on the Titanic.

Meanwhile, "Building Bad" (10x60’, Shark Teeth Films for Crave, Canada) blends engineering, science, and crime, exploring how criminals use inventive, yet twisted, scientific techniques to break the law.

Additionally, "Alien Corridors" (8x60’, Go Button Media for Super Channel, Canada and Hearst Networks, EMEA) is an investigative series that explores global hotspots of extraterrestrial visitation and tries to understand their presence.

Next up, "An Optimist’s Guide to the Planet" (6x60’, Cream Productions for Crave, Canada and Bloomberg, International), hosted by actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, is a globe-trotting exploration of positive initiatives addressing climate change.

Moreover, "Cold Case Cops" (10x60’, Peninsula Television for CBS Reality, UK) follows detectives as they reopen cold cases, rebuilding investigations from scratch to deliver justice to victims’ families.

In contrast, "Spring Break Murders" (20x60’, Hearst Media EMEA, Bell Media, Canada) uses firsthand accounts, reenactments, and digital evidence to reveal tragic stories of youthful adventures gone wrong.

Finally, "Summer Qamp" (Cineflix Productions, presented by Bright West Entertainment and produced in association with Hello Friend, Steve Robillard, and Super Channel) is a critically acclaimed documentary following LGBTQ+ youth at a lakeside camp in Alberta, where they experience summer camp in a safe and affirming environment.

In addition to these new titles, Cineflix Rights' MIPCOM slate includes returning favorites like "Château DIY", "Tempting Fortune", "Inside Taronga Zoo", and "The Yorkshire Auction House".

Tim Mutimer, CEO of Cineflix Rights, made a specific reference to the star addition to the slate: “We’re delighted to welcome the 'A New Life in the Sun' franchise to Cineflix Rights. It’s a great addition to our slate, complementing our other lifestyle franchises, true crime stories, home and renovation shows, food and travel series, and fascinating history and science documentaries. Our MIPCOM 2024 factual slate offers buyers quality and variety for every platform and scheduling need," commented.
