At the recent Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Le Havre, Lucky You has presented several premium projects, including “7 Wonders: Legendary Monuments” (4x52’ episodes already completed, 3x52’ in production), a series by Olivier Lemaître, produced by Sequana. "Amazing CGI makes the viewer see with their very eyes what the greatest monuments of ancient times used to look like, as most of them have since disappeared," explained Robert Salvestrin, Founder of Lucky You.

Another focus for the company is “The Organic Revolution”. "This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the organic agriculture movement, a topic that still resonates with people today. This series brings a fresh perspective," mentioned Salvestrin. These are just a few examples of completed programs from Lucky You.

Salvestrin also highlighted upcoming titles nearing completion that are looking for pre-sales, such as Napoleon the Third – The Bold and Beautiful”, a series by Edouard Jacques produced by Bonne Pioche. "Napoleon the Third played a crucial role in French history, rising to power in the latter half of the 19th century, shaping both national and international politics," Salvestrin said. "The series is a four-part production, but we’re open to creating a one-hour or two-hour version, and we are actively seeking pre-financers to help shape this project," he added.

In the science genre, Lucky You is showcasing “A Powerful Cycle” (52'), a film by Maja Meiners and Hienke Schröder, produced by Thurn Film. The film explores how scientists are currently studying the female cycle and revolutionizing medicine, sports, and women’s personal lives with groundbreaking results.

Recently, Lucky You launched “Into the Night” (90'), a scientific documentary that analyzes the consequences of extreme light pollution at night. Salvestrin also highlighted the continued success of “Science & Sports”, a series by Elisabeth Scherrer and Emilie Garcia, produced by Bonne Pioche and NHK. "It was produced three years ago, but with the upcoming Olympic Games, the series has found new life, with several public broadcasters and mainstream platforms acquiring it," said Salvestrin.

A PECULIAR YEAR
Reflecting on the company's performance, Salvestrin noted that this year has been peculiar, particularly as it marks Lucky You's 10th anniversary. "Unfortunately, the political-economic climate and global tensions have affected the industry," he said. "The lack of U.S. partners, who used to be key players in the business, is impacting the industry's momentum," he concluded.
