Ukraine's Glowberry production studio, renowned for its acclaimed series "Brave Bunnies", has released a crowdfunding campaign for its latest project, "Mom Hurries Home". This initiative aims to empower Ukrainian children with enriching animation content, provide employment opportunities for Ukrainian artists, and promote Ukrainian culture globally.

The project was a finalist at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, and now, the company has launched the crowdfunding campaign to complete the animation. Since its debut at MIP Junior, "Mom Hurries Home" has garnered acclaim at prestigious animation festivals worldwide, representing Ukraine's burgeoning animation sector. The series, based on popular books by Sveta Dorosheva, has captivated audiences in Europe, Asia, and beyond, with plans for global distribution.

Yana Medvedeva, CEO of Animagrad, ("Mavka. The Forest Song"), and the company producing the project, highlights the importance of the campaign: "Supporting 'Mom Hurries Home' is more than just funding an animation project, it’s about sustaining the creative spirit of Ukrainian artists during these trying times. This campaign provides vital opportunities for our talented animators and storytellers to continue their work and share their unique perspectives with the world."

"Mom Hurries Home" follows the adventures of Mom and her son Alex as they transform mundane daily routines into magical escapades. Inspired by Alex's imagination, each trip home from work becomes an opportunity for fantastical storytelling, turning their ordinary city into a place of wonder. The series fosters creativity and encourages families to engage in imaginative play, making every day extraordinary.

Olga Cherepanova, the co-author of the books, written together with Svitlana Dorosheva, based on which the idea of the project was implemented, emphasizes the profound impact of "Mom Hurries Home": "Beyond being a mere series, 'Mom Hurries Home' is a celebration of imagination and creativity, igniting the spark of wonder in both children and adults alike in the daily routine of life. With this project, we want to show Ukrainian children the possibilities of a peaceful daily life in Ukraine, inspiring young minds and fostering a love for storytelling. We want to bring back the joy of childhood to Ukrainian children, and we hope this will become a reality soon."
