Woodcut International has concluded sales with various European broadcasters who snapped up the 2-part documentary series "Titanic in Colour" (2x45’), produced by Woodcut Media production. The title has been picked up by YLE (Finland), DR TV (Denmark), SVT (Sweden), Warner Bros. Discovery (Italy), RMC Découverte (France), Česká Televize (Czech Republic) and Viasat World, and it has been already pre-sold to C4 (UK) and SBS (Australia) with a premiere sets to TX in the next few months.

“In no time at all this title has proved really popular with our buyers as it appeals to such a diverse contemporary audience. Titanic in Colour’s distinct feel breathes new life into some incredible and unusual stories surrounding one of history’s most devasting maritime disasters,” said Koulla Anastasi, Managing Director, Woodcut International.

When the Titanic sank on the 15th April 1912, the news shook the world. Now, thanks to painstaking research and unique colourisation techniques, this incredible documentary brings to life everything from the lavish interiors of the ship, artefacts and clothing from passengers (that gives insight into their lives), through to the larger-than-life people who built, sailed on and ultimately survived the sinking.

Series Producer is Jonathan Mayo, whilst Kate Beal and Tom Adams serve as Executive Producers. Woodcut International is handling worldwide sales.
