ZDF Enterprises has concluded a number of deals with broadcasters across Asia for a range of children’s titles. For example, the Philippines' national broadcaster GMA has acquired “Heirs of the Night” (S1 and 2), a tale of five remaining European vampire clans who are out to defeat Dracula; as well as renewing the license for “Mako Mermaids” (S1-3).

Furthermore, Indonesia’s FTA channel, PT. Net Mediatama has also bought “Heirs of the Night” (S1 and 2), along with “The Worst Witch” (S1), based on Jill Murphy’s much loved books.

Moreover, two of ZDF Enterprises’ most popular animated series, “Lexi and Lottie” and “Henrietta,” have been sold to Good TV for Taiwan and the Philippines. In Hong Kong, public broadcaster RTHK acquired free to air rights for “The Adventures of the Young Marco Polo” and “Henrietta”.

“I am delighted that our shows, much loved by young German audiences, will be entertaining children overseas. With our catalogue covering all ages and ranging from animation to action-packed adventure series, we look forward to securing more partnerships for children’s content in Asia,”  said Peter Lang, Vice President of ZDFE.junior at ZDF Enterprises.
