Secuoya Content Group has closed the 2024 fiscal year with the best results in its history. The company reached a record revenue of €142 million and an EBITDA of €59.1 million, representing a 33% increase in revenue and an 85% rise in EBITDA compared to the previous year. Additionally, the group experienced a 51% increase in adjusted EBITDA, a 118% growth in EBIT, and a 214% surge in consolidated net profit.

These outstanding results are a direct consequence of the strong performance of Secuoya Studios, which has become the main pillar of value creation for the company and a benchmark in the industry for content creation, production, post-production, and distribution. In 2024 alone, five scripted series were produced and the content catalog expanded to a total of 156 hours of original programming, driving a 123% increase in revenue.

Raúl Berdonés, founder and executive chairman of Secuoya Content Group, emphasized the importance of the transformation undertaken in recent years: "Four years ago, we made a bold decision to pivot from a service-based business model to become a content-driven company. Today, the results validate that choice. Our strategy—focused on retaining intellectual property, diversifying content exploitation, optimizing tax incentives, ensuring creative freedom, and building a solid and sustainable international expansion—is proving to be profitable, scalable, and competitive," commented.

Over the past year, the company made significant progress in its international expansion strategy, strengthening a global production model with the launch of a new production hub in Colombia. The first co-production between Colombia and Spain, ‘Los 39’, has enabled the company to benefit from tax incentives in both countries, demonstrating the viability and scalability of its international model.

To expand the global reach of its fiction productions, Secuoya Studios is developing an innovative model based on an international network of executive producers, known as Pods. This system, set to launch in ten key countries — including the UK, France, Germany, Iceland, Mexico, and Colombia — will give the company direct access to local talent, strategic projects, and tax incentives in each territory. Each Pod comprises a multidisciplinary team made up of an executive producer, a head of development, and a fiction coordinator, enabling the company to manage multiple productions simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.

In the scripted and film segments, Secuoya has strengthened its position with an ambitious creative slate, developing and producing titles such as "Los 39", "Shades", "Terra Alta", "Arcadia", and "The Crossroads", as well as feature films including "Padres", "El cuento del lobo", "Under a volcano", and "Aullar".

In the Services division, the group has executed major audiovisual engineering projects, such as the Real Madrid Museum and the Spain Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, and has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art post-production center. This division—which also includes outsourcing, audiovisual solutions, and immersive experiences through Secuoya BPO, Servicios, and Nexus—delivers recurring, stable revenue with consolidated margins.

This growth has been achieved while maintaining financial balance: the group’s financial debt was reduced by 5%, reinforcing its ability to continue investing in expansion and new projects.
