Blue Ant Media and Muse Entertainment team up to launch Love Drama

The new scripted free-streaming channel will include more than 300 hours of movies, series, and mini-series from Muse Entertainment’s vast library of scripted entertainment.

Blue Ant Media and Muse Entertainment have entered in a partnership to launch Love Drama, a new free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel that offers a mix of scripted drama, including romance, mystery, thrillers and holiday-themed programming.“This partnership allows us to bring Muse Entertainment’s wealth of scripted Canadian-produced programming together with Blue Ant’s expertise in curating and operating international, genre-focused FAST channels,” Jamie Schouela, President, Global Channels & Media, Blue Ant Media said. “The depth and quality of Muse’s portfolio is perfect for creating a programming destination for entertaining, scripted programming that audiences worldwide seek out and love.”

The content set to become available on the platform includes more than 300 hours of movies, series, and mini-series from Muse Entertainment’s vast library of scripted entertainment. The channel is now available to audiences in the UK on Virgin Media and Netgem TV and in Canada on LG Channels and Pluto TV. In addition, Love Drama will roll out across additional platforms and territories around the world in the new year. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Blue Ant Media on this exciting initiative. Throughout the month of December, the channel will offer a “Love Christmas” programming event, stacked with holiday movies, including "Welcome to Christmas," which follows a resort developer who finds love when she visits the small town of Christmas, Colorado to open a new ski resort; Holidaze, the holiday journey of a corporate workaholic who wakes up in an alternate universe, married to her childhood sweetheart; "Marry Me at Christmas," the story of a bridal boutique owner who is planning an exquisite Christmas wedding, when she is swept off her feet by the bride's brother; A Rose for Christmas, following a woman who takes over the construction of a Rose Parade float after her Dad gets sick and falls for the contentious client.

Additional programming events coming to Love Drama will include “Murder Mystery Party” in January, featuring thrillers and mysteries like Mind Over Murder, a TV movie about an unhappy-in-love lawyer, who suffers a serious head injury, which gives her the psychic power to read minds and then uses it to catch a killer; and "Jack of Diamonds," a thrilling crime drama about the fate of a young tennis pro teaching at an exclusive country club who crosses paths with a master jewel thief. The channel will also host a “Love Valentine” programming event in February featuring a bevy of scripted romantic movie specials, including "Two For The Win," the story of a recuperating world champion skier who returns home and has to take remedial coaching from his old childhood competitor, which rekindles their friendship and more.

Additional fan-favorite scripted series and movies slated to roll out on the channel in coming months include "The Kennedys," a mini series about the most fabled political family in American history, told through historical events, such as the Cuban Missile Crisis, to reveal the lesser known personal stories; White Hot, A Sandra Brown Mystery the story of a interior designer who returns to her small Louisiana hometown for her brother’s funeral and becomes embedded in an investigation to uncover the truth of his death; "Bomb Girls," a series set in the 1940s that delves into the lives of women working in a munitions factory during World War II who find themselves changed profoundly as they are liberated from their domestic and social restrictions; and "This is Wonderland," a series about a newly minted attorney who joins the chaotic world of criminal justice in a big city and is exposed to the backroom deals and eccentric characters that make the system work.
