Eccho Rights has sealed deals with Britbox International and Acorn TV for the British crime drama "Granite Harbour." Britbox confirmed that "Granite Harbour" is set to premier on 1st August and will be available for audiences in the US and Canada, and will later go on to air in Australia and New Zealand on Acorn TV later this Fall. The title, produced by LA Productions in collaboration with Dopamine, launched in December of last year on BBC1 and BBC Scotland, receiving positive feedback from viewers.
The drama series follows ex-RMP officer Davis Lindo Arriving in Aberdeen to train as a detective on the DUO Commonality Scheme, as he sets his sights on impressing his superiors in the North Eastern Police. However, when a high-profile figure is found dead on Davis’ first day on the job, he finds himself thrown in the deep end. As the case progresses, Davis finds that his instinctual approach leads him down a path that isolates him from his colleagues. As he finds himself out in the cold, Davis is presented with an opportunity to right a wrong from his past, to save a life with echoes of his own.
