HBO MAX WILL BE AVAILABLE ON DIRECTV LATIN AMERICA, SKY BRASIL, AND OI BRAZIL

HBO Max announced that the day of its launch it will be available to subscribers of Directv Latin America, Sky Brasil and Oi. DirecTV Go and Oi will also offer special HBO Max promotions to their users.

WarnerMedia announced that HBO Max, the company’s direct-to-consumer streaming product, will be available at launch to Directv Latin America, Sky Brasil and Oi subscribers in Brazil, with more partners expected to come. HBO Max is scheduled to debut in late June 2021 in 39 territories across the region, marking the first launch of the platform outside the United States. Directv Latin America and Sky Brasil are part of Vrio Corp, a leading digital entertainment provider with more than 10 million customers and available in 10 countries.  Oi is a major infrastructure company in Brazil and one of the country’s telecom leaders, with a portfolio of over 52 million clients.

On the day of launch, existing users of Directv Latin America, Sky Brasil and Oi with an active HBO subscription will have automatic access, at no additional cost, to HBO Max’s full entertainment portfolio of world-class content that includes the most beloved and fan-favorite programming from WarnerMedia’s international family of brands like HBO, DC and Warner Bros. HBO subscribers will simply be required to authenticate into the HBO Max with their provider – Directv Latin America, SKY Brasil or Oi.  There will also be special promotions designed with Directv Go and Oi as well as offers for Oi broadband.

Designed for everyone in the household, HBO Max will provide access to quality content drawn from 100 years of iconic and beloved WarnerMedia programming for people of all ages - ranging from preschoolers with collections from Cartoon Network and Looney Tunes Cartoons, to teens and adults from fan-favorite brands like HBO, Warner Bros, New Line, DC, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV and Adult Swim. The platform’s content lineup also includes a wide slate of local original titles, under the Max Originals brand, that are exclusive to the platform and will showcase local storytellers and talent bringing their authentic, meaningful voices to our fans. HBO Max users will also be able to enjoy an unrivalled library of critically acclaimed dramas, documentaries, comedies and movies created by the world’s most critically acclaimed storytellers.
