Love Nature has landed on Telenor Sweden. The linear platform’s audience will have access in addition to the channel’s existing 300 million viewing households. “We’re delighted Love Nature has debuted in Sweden via Telenor Sweden, which further expands the brand's reach to Nordic audiences and Northern Europe,” said Jade Anderson-Busby, Sales Manager, EMEA, Global Networks, Blue Ant Media.
The three-year carriage launch in Sweden follows the channel’s rollout last fall on Telenor’s linear platform in Norway and significantly expands Love Nature’s reach in the Nordic region. “We at Telenor have been impressed by Love Nature which brings audiences powerful stories about the natural world and fosters a deeper understanding and connection to the planet we call home," says Leif Björklund, Head of TV & Media at Telenor Sverige. "The launch of the HD-service and the award-winning library of 4K natural history series and documentaries will enable us to further develop our partnership in the near future."
Love Nature programming highlights on Telenor Sweden that have been localized in Swedish include, "Dogs with Extraordinary Jobs," an original Love Nature commission that follows a group of dogs whose natural abilities are being harnessed by scientists, rescuers, and the disadvantaged to improve lives, increase safety and educate viewers on sustainability. The show spans five 60-minute episodes.
"New Kids in the Wild" is a five-part show that displays the importance of the first months in the lives of five baby animals from their first fragile steps to their venture out into the world to face hardships.
