"Wild Science"
Global content studio Big Media has entered into a major co-production and distribution agreement with international production studio and rights business Blue Ant Studios and global wildlife and nature brand Love Nature for a new premium wildlife series "Wild Science" (6 x 60’). Under the deal, Blue Ant Studios and Love Nature, both owned by parent company Blue Ant Media, will co-produce and manage distribution rights outside select territories, marking the first time Big Media has partnered with Blue Ant on a global series.
The agreement builds on a long-standing relationship, in which Blue Ant Media has previously licensed Big Media titles for its Canadian-owned platforms and FAST channels. "Wild Science" marks the expansion of that collaboration into a global production and distribution model.
Danny Wilk, co-founder & president of Big Media, reflected on the partnership: "Blue Ant has been a consistent partner and champion of our content,' he said. 'With "Wild Science," we’re not just delivering premium factual content—we’re doing it through our successful co-matrix model that continues to grow and reflects where this industry is heading. It’s a stunning, visually ambitious series that we believe will resonate with audiences and buyers worldwide," expressed.
Currently in production, "Wild Science" is a cutting-edge natural history series that uses CGI, visually dynamic footage, and an in-depth scientific zoological perspective to explore the super-powered adaptations of Earth’s most remarkable predators. From deep-sea hunters to apex land carnivores, each episode reveals the scientific secrets behind how these animals hunt, survive, and dominate their ecosystems. The series is produced out of Big Media’s international studios in Prague and London, blending cinematic visuals with scientific storytelling to deliver a tech-forward, globally appealing wildlife series revealing never-before-seen animal behavior.
