Blue Ant Studios sold "Mysteries from Above" to A+E Global Media

The multi-season agreement marks a key U.S. sale for the Canadian-produced series, with 30 episodes acquired by A+E Global Media’s History Channel, expanding Blue Ant Studios’ international distribution footprint.

Blue Ant Studios announced the sale of rights for seasons 1 to 3 of the investigative history series "Mysteries from Above" (30 x 60’, Blue Ant Studios) to A+E Global Media’s History Channel in the United States. Revealed at the Banff World Media Festival, the agreement underscores the studio’s commitment to exporting Canadian productions to the U.S. and other international markets.

The series explores significant historic and modern sites from an aerial perspective using drone, satellite, and other high-altitude photography. Each episode begins with a view from above, offering a unique vantage point that reshapes our understanding of the sites and the stories behind them. From eerie abandoned locations to awe-inspiring natural wonders and ancient relics, the show leverages cutting-edge imaging to uncover long-lost secrets, solve real-world mysteries, and investigate unusual natural phenomena.
