MTV and Paramount+ to produce "Ex On The Beach: Caribbean" for Latin America

The new reality series, “Ex On The Beach”: De Férias Com o Ex: Caribbean," produced by ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) in collaboration with FoxTeleColombia and Floresta Produções, is set to debut next year on the streaming service.

MTV and Paramount+ Latin America recently geeenlit the new Latin American version of “Ex On The Beach”: De Férias Com o Ex: Caribbean." The new reality series will premiere in 2022 on MTV’s linear channel and ViacomCBS’ premium streaming service, Paramount+ in the region.

De Férias Com o Ex: Caribbean is produced for MTV and Paramount+ by ViacomCBS International Studios in collaboration with FoxTeleColombia and Floresta Produções. MTV and Paramount+ recently premiered the latest production by VIS and FoxTeleColombia, La Venganza de los Ex VIP, filmed in Cartagena, Colombia, which is one of the top performing titles on MTV across the region.

Since its launch in UK in 2014, "Ex on the Beach" has become MTV’s most widely traveled and locally adapted show, with 15 versions and over 600 episodes created around the world, including a UK, United States, Poland and Itally, as well as "La Venganza de los Ex" and"La Venganza de los Ex VIP" in Mexico, "De Ferias Com O Ex Brasil" and "De Ferias Com O Ex Brasil: Celebs in Brazil" and "Ex On The Beach Double" in Dutch for the Netherlands and Belgium.

Set in the Caribbean coast of Colombia, "De Férias Com o Ex: Caribbean" marks the first bilingual version of the franchise, in Portuguese and Spanish. The series will feature 10 singles from all over Latin America, who show up for what they think is a run-of-the-mill love and partying show in paradise, only to be completely blindsided by their exes, in some cases multiple, face-to-face. A complicated web of hookups, deceit, revenge, and drama unfolds against the sultry backdrop as couples decide if their love can be reignited, or if the flame of romance is gone for good.
