OGM Universe’s drama series “Stickman” resumed after a one-week hiatus and has been performing exceptionally well: with its 15th episode, the show registered 120.000 interactions on social media, leading the trending topics list for the entire day.
Originally titled “Çöp Adam,” the show is produced by OGM Pictures, the company behind many Turkish hit series. The primetime drama is a real life story to TV adaptation based on works by world-known Dr. Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu. “Stickman” tells the love story of game developer Tamer and bankeress Peri, who meets in an extraordinary way and are trapped in a dangerous yet beautiful game.
In the story, when the game designed by Tamer became a worldwide success, it attracted the attention of foreign investors and Tamer became the owner of a great fortune. Peri, who comes across him one night, breaks all the balances he is trying to establish with his family. As soon as Tamer sees Peri, he unconsciously goes after her, abducting the young woman with a sudden urge. The love between Tamer and Peri, which will arise from hatred, will be tested against great obstacles throughout the mysterious, exciting and emotional episodes.
Starring Engin Altan Düzyatan, Elçin Sangu, Sedef Avcı, the show is written by Melek Gençoğlu and Su Ersöz, along with the established director Yağız Alp Akaydın, which is responsible for successful titles such as “The Organization,” “Gülperi,” and “The Magnificent Century.”
